Terms of Use
These terms govern access to Obioma during the private beta. Please read them before creating an account or using marketplace features.
Effective 24 August 2026 · Private beta version
1. About Obioma
Obioma provides tools for discovering independent tailors, presenting apparel, communicating, creating order records, and tracking agreed work. Obioma is a marketplace technology provider and is not the tailor, client, employer, agent, bank, escrow provider, insurer, or guarantor in a transaction between members.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity under your account, protecting your credentials, and promptly telling us about suspected unauthorised access.
Private-beta invitations are personal, time-limited, and may not be sold or transferred. We may limit cohort size or pause new access.
3. Member conduct
Do not use Obioma to harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, spam, infringe rights, distribute malware, evade safety controls, scrape member data, manipulate reviews or metrics, or offer unlawful goods or services. Content and catalogue information must be accurate and you must have the right to publish it.
4. Commissions, orders, and payments
Members are responsible for agreeing scope, measurements, fabric, price, deposit, due dates, delivery, alterations, cancellations, and refunds. Unless Obioma explicitly introduces a supported payment product, payments occur outside Obioma and are not held, protected, or guaranteed by us. An in-app invoice or payment acknowledgement records what a member entered; it does not independently verify funds.
5. Content and marketplace licence
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give Obioma a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, resize, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service according to your visibility choices. You can remove content, subject to legal, safety, backup, and transaction-record requirements.
6. Beta availability
The private beta may contain errors, change without notice, or experience interruptions. Features, limits, pricing previews, and workflows may change before public launch. Do not use Obioma as the only copy of measurements, financial records, or business-critical files.
7. Safety and enforcement
We may investigate reports, restrict content or functionality, suspend accounts, preserve relevant records, and cooperate with lawful requests when reasonably necessary to protect members or the service. Blocking a member stops new messages but does not erase existing order or safety records.
8. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Obioma is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee a member’s identity, skill, availability, work quality, response time, delivery, or payment. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the beta evolves. Material changes will be presented before they apply to continued account use. Questions can be sent to legal@obioma.app. See the Privacy Policy for information about personal data.
